Meadow River Rail Trail Hike

Description

Come hike with Community Captain Ken on the Meadow River Rail Trail! We will explore the trail’s newest section in Rainelle. Plan on a 3-4 mile walk. We will also discuss and make plans for future hikes along the trail. If riding is more your style please leave me a comment and tell me a distance you would like to ride. Anybody want to explore from Snake Island to Russellville?! The Snake Island trailhead is on Snake Island road in Rainelle. Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children. It is our expectation for larger groups of children (e.g. Scouts, youth groups, etc), that an adult to child ratio of 1 adult to 5 children be observed in ages 5 and under, and 1 adult to 10 children be observed for ages 5 and above.
