Community Captain:Lucas About This Event: Beginner friendly ride on the MacManus Rail Trail in Beckley plus check out the new skills features on the trail! Connect with others in the area who love to ride and get started riding on a beginner friendly course. What to Expect: • Ride on paved rail trail • Meet others, relaxed and friendly setting • Open to all regardless of skill! How to Prepare: • Bring your own bike, helmets are required • Bring water, wear appropriate shoes and clothing for riding Questions? Contact hello@activeswv.com with any questions. Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children. It is our expectation for larger groups of children (e.g. Scouts, youth groups, etc), that an adult to child ratio of 1 adult to 5 children be observed in ages 5 and under, and 1 adult to 10 children be observed for ages 5 and above.
