Event Name: Pedal Pal Power Ride (10+ Miles) Date: Wednesday, 5/6 + 5/27 Time: 5:30pm Location: Blue ‘Bike Man’ Sculpture (805 Lee Street E) Description: Join Community Captain Sam as we celebrate Bike Month with two 10+ mile bike rides this May. We will depart from Downtown Charleston and make our way to ride along parts of the Kanawha City Cycling Route and back. Meet at 5:30pm at the Lee Street Triangle (805 Lee Street E). Please be prepared for at least 2 hours of riding. Bring your own bike and helmet. Don't forget to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated during the ride. This event is free, family-friendly and welcome to all. Rain or shine. Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children.
