All equipment is provided and this is a free program. Youth 8 years old and up can be permitted to climb\, parent/guardian must attend with the child. What to Expect: Climbing in a safe beginner friendly environment How to Prepare: Walking to the climbing area is approximately one mile and has some off trail portions/steep. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring water. Limited space and registration is required. Please pre-register for the event at www.activeswv.org/calendar for updates and cancellation info. Registration to any Active SWV free programming indicates acceptance of our liability waiver for every adult and child attending. https://rpb.li/rNo Please do not attend programs if you are not feeling well. Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly\; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children. It is our expectation for larger groups of children (e.g. Scouts\, youth groups\, etc)\, that an adult to child ratio of 1 adult to 5 children be observed in ages 5 and under\, and 1 adult to 10 children be observed for ages 5 and above.
