Trade your hiking boots for your best semi-formal attire—but keep the boots! We’re celebrating the hands-on work of Active SWV with a night of "rustic sophistication" for the Wildflowers & Wonder Boots on the Ground Annual Celebration on Friday, August 14 at 6 pm at the J.W. and Hazel Ruby Welcome Center.

Every mile run by a Kids Run Club and every trail conquered by a Community Captain volunteer-led hike starts with one thing: the support of people like you. Our "Boots on the Ground" theme honors the direct community investment that defines Active SWV.

The evening's pledge drive is dedicated to one goal: putting the right gear in the right hands. 

• Climbing shoes for our rock climbing participants.
• Portable speakers to bring the energy to our community REFIT classes.
• Pickleball sets for our growing programs, and more!

Enjoy dinner, networking, music, and a cash bar. Come celebrate the people who keep our programs running and help us reach our goal of a more a active, healthier West Virginia.
