Join Community Captain Sam for a scenic joyride around Charleston’s historic West Side on the seat of your very own bicycle. Meet at 11:30am at the West Side Wonder Mural (210 W Washington St, Charleston, WV 25302) and we will depart on this approximately 5-mile, casual ride. Afterwards, riders have the option to lock up their bikes and explore the shops and convene together at an Elk City small business. Bring your own bike and helmets are required. This event is free, family-friendly and welcome to all. West Virginia Pedal Pals receives program support from Active Southern West Virginia. Please do not attend programs if you are not feeling well. https://rpb.li/rNo Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children. It is our expectation for larger groups of children (e.g. Scouts, youth groups, etc), that an adult to child ratio of 1 adult to 5 children be observed in ages 5 and under, and 1 adult to 10 children be observed for ages 5 and above.
