Join CC Becky for a Hike. Have you seen this sign? Falling Springs Waterfall.....now see this impressive 80-foot cascade located five miles north of Covington VA on Tuesday, May 21st. Unfortunately for hikers/walkers, it is only viewed from an overlook, so to get our hiking "fix", we'll check out the Jackson River Trail also. It is a 14 mile rail trail, similar to....but different....our own river trail. This an easy hike-at-your-own-pace walk. Meet at The Hub in Lewisburg to carpool/caravan at 10:00 a.m. Please understand that we may need additional persons to drive, depending on number of hikers. . Bring walking shoes, water, snacks, and sunscreen! And PLEASE let the leader know on this site if you plan to join us. NOTE: There is a strong possibility of stopping after the hike for a mid-afternoon meal in White Sulphur Springs (keeping our business in Greenbrier County). Youth must be accompanied by a guardian and the adult must stay with them during the activity. Active SWV has developed a new online program which provides FREE membership and access to all FREE programs. Please fill this out at www.activeswv.com or fill it out at the hike. Even if you sign up online, let the leader know on this site if you are coming.
