Location: Little Beaver State Park Address: 1402 Grandview Rd, Beaver, WV 25813, Raleigh County Community Captain: Emily When: Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM About This Event: Join the Little Beaver Walking Group for a relaxing and social walk around the lake! This group is perfect for those looking to enjoy nature, stay active, and connect with others. Portions of the trail may be included based on group interest. What to Expect: • A flexible walking route—laps around the lake or optional trail sections • Group-paced walks—distance will be decided by participants • Beautiful lake views and a peaceful setting How to Prepare: • Meet in the parking lot by the dam • Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather • Bring water and a friend! Stay Connected: Registration to any Active SWV free programming indicates acceptance of our liability waiver for every adult and child attending. Please do not attend programs if you are not feeling well. https://rpb.li/rNo Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children. It is our expectation for larger groups of children (e.g. Scouts, youth groups, etc), that an adult to child ratio of 1 adult to 5 children be observed in ages 5 and under, and 1 adult to 10 children be observed for ages 5 and above.
