Event Name: May Bike Cafe Date: Saturday, 5/2 Time: 2pm Location: Blue ‘Bike Man’ Sculpture (805 Lee Street E) Description: Join Community Captain Sam for a scenic joyride around Charleston’s historic East End and Downtown neighborhoods on the seat of your very own bicycle. Meet at 2pm at the Lee Street Triangle (805 Lee Street E) and we will depart on this approximately 5-mile, casual ride. Afterwards, riders have the option to lock-up their bikes and explore the shops and convene together at a local small business. Bring your own bike and helmet. Don't forget to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated during the ride. This event is free, family-friendly and welcome to all. Rain or shine. Please do not attend programs if you are feeling ill. Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children.
