Southside Beginner Bike Ride

\ Join Community Captain Sam for a bike riding program in the gorge. Experience the sights and sounds of spring on the Southside Trail on the seat of a bicycle! Join Active Southern West Virginia, National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), and New River Gorge National Park and Preserve on an approximately 14-mile, 2.5 hour out and back guided bike ride. Our route will be mostly flat, with moderate elevation changes and set a comfortable pace for a family-friendly, group ride. Keep in mind we will make occasional stops along the way to observe the wildflowers and foliage to celebrate the arrival of spring. Bring your own bike and helmet! Check the weather and please dress accordingly; plenty of water and insect repellent are recommended.
