Location: Summersville Lake – Winter Boat Ramp Meet-Up Spot: Waterstone Outdoors, 101 East Wiseman Ave, Fayetteville, WV 25840 Community Captain: Holly When: June 3rd, Meet at 5:30 PM for check-in and carpool/caravan About This Event: Join Community Captain Holly for a swimming-for-exercise group at Summersville Lake. This is not a beginner or instructional swim, but a group designed for moderately strong swimmers who are comfortable swimming continuously. The swim begins at the winter boat ramp and continues toward the dam, with each swimmer determining their own distance. What to Expect: • Group swim at Summersville Lake for intermediate-level swimmers • Meet at Waterstone Outdoors at 5:30 PM to caravan or carpool to the lake • Swimmers can choose their own distance • Expect a welcoming and supportive group of fitness-minded swimmers How to Prepare: • Swim buoys or personal flotation devices (PFDs) are required (limited supply available; bring your own if possible) • Must be able to swim continuously for at least 5 minutes • Bring water, towel, and warm dry clothes for after the swim • Arrive on time at Waterstone Outdoors for check-in and directions

It is our expectation for larger groups of children (e.g. Scouts, youth groups, etc), that an adult to child ratio of 1 adult to 5 children be observed in ages 5 and under, and 1 adult to 10 children be observed for ages 5 and above.
