Two Lick Trail Hike

Description

Location: The Hub Lewisburg Community Captain: Becky When: April 1st About This Event: No Foolin’.....get out and hike!  The Two Lick Trail is a pleasant hiking and mountain biking trail  in  the Monongahela National Forest near the Virginia/West Virginia border (northeast of White Sulphur) through an oak-hickory forest plus hemlock and fir trees.  The main trail is about four miles with some climbs and descents and can be combined with the bottom loop trail for another two miles (we will make a group decision). What to Expect: • Hike 4 miles • Meet at the The Hub How to Prepare: • Bring Water, wear walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing • Hike will be cancelled in the event of extreme bad weather. Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children. It is our expectation for larger groups of children (e.g. Scouts, youth groups, etc), that an adult to child ratio of 1 adult to 5 children be observed in ages 5 and under, and 1 adult to 10 children be observed for ages 5 and above.
