Thank you to our July program sponsor, Highland Outdoors!
For more than a decade, Highland Outdoors has celebrated the people, places, and adventures that make Appalachia unique. Now part of the New South Media, Inc. family and focused on West Virginia, southwestern Pennsylvania, western Maryland, and eastern Virginia, the quarterly magazine blends striking photography and compelling storytelling on outdoor recreation, conservation, environmental issues, and Appalachian highland culture.
Each issue contains four to five features, as well as departments that cover mountain communities, waterways and wild places, and outdoor advocacy. Readers will also enjoy profiles of Appalachians doing remarkable things and stories about adventures like hiking, biking, paddling, climbing, and birding.
Highland Outdoors hopes to inspire readers across Appalachia with stories that foster a deeper connection to the Appalachian highlands and the communities that call it home.
