PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED - Roll Out @ Action Point at the Summit Bechtel Reserve

Description
Please Pre-Register. The session is skate only, no bikes will be allowed.
There are opportunities to for all skill levels to skate at this location. There is plenty of flat, smooth pavement for our beginners and re-learners. There are also above ground, pre-fab ramps, Community Captain Leah will be there to help you with any guidance needed. Please bring your own skates and helmet (required). The Summit does have additional helmets to borrow if needed.
Directions:
Please arrive at the “Summit Bechtel Reserve NORTH Entrance” This is the entrance just past the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve headquarters in Glen Jean, WV.
Stop at the gatehouse, let them know you are there for the Active SWV skate session at Action Point. There will be maps at the Gatehouse to guide you Action Point, as well as signage along the roadway. The drive back to Action Point from the gatehouse will take about 20 minutes. Parking is along the back side of the ramps, and we will meet under the Harvey Family Mountain Bike Shop Pavilion. There is a bathroom facility if needed.
Must have completed BOTH the Active SWV free membership/waiver and the Summit Bechtel Reserve’s Waiver (Community Captain Leah will have them).
2550 Jack Furst Drive (official address) will take you to an administrative building……so use “Summit Bechtel Reserve North Entrance” in your GPS. Then follow the ping or grab a map from the gatehouse.

Stay on the main road, sometimes it will short cut you on internal roads over the dam.
Stay straight through first intersection on Jack Furst Drive all the way to Action Point Road then take a left (if you go over a dam before curving around to the left you went too far). Drive back Action Point Road until it dead ends and park behind the park.
